Pitches and PCBs in the making

After getting some components in Huaqiangbei, we went back to work on Monday. We were supposed to get the PCB in the morning, but there was another delay and we only finish assembling it on Tuesday at noon. In the meantime, we could still move forward and advance the Bluetooth communication and the design of the second PCB for the lighting.

Amandine and I went back to Huanqiangbei to get some magnets, but came back with a bunch of gadgets. Finding strong magnets was harder than planned and we didn’t have the time to neither order, nor search for much longer on the spot.

On Tuesday evening, we took part in the Sino-Swiss event with all CHIC teams and pitched our project to a crowd of makers and entrepreneurs who all had ties to both China and Switzerland. We had the chance to experience first-hand the importance of mastering the technical aspects of the slides and sound. It was a very good learning experience to pitch in front of a hundred person with a clumsy technical setup.
